Introducing the Bluebird’s Scribe Review’s editorial team
The Bluebird’s Scribe Review is guided by a small, attentive editorial team. Daniel Aôndona and Sharisa Aidukaitis work closely together to read submissions with care, select poems with intention, and refine each piece for publication. We believe poetry deserves time, patience, and respect, both for the work itself and for the voices behind it. Our process centers on listening closely, honoring craft, and making space for poems that leave impact. Each publication reflects our commitment to thoughtful curation and to ensuring deserving writers are seen and shared.
Sharisa Aidukaitis is a poet whose works have appeared in dozens of literary magazines. She holds a PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures from the University of Virginia and teaches college language and literature courses in state prisons. She loves poetry that captures a splinter of what it means to be human, breathes life into it, and asks another person if they have ever felt the same way. She relishes chocolate, music, and imbibing silence in nature.
Daniel Aôndona is a Nigerian writer, English student, and arts enthusiast from Benue, Middle Belt. He is a member of Hilltop Creative Arts Foundation Abuja and an alumnus of SprinngNG Writers Fellowship (2024).
